The Tupek is a new concept of shelter. It provides an immediate protection for 2 persons in case they need it. The Tupek allows two persons to sit or lie down with comfort.The structure is made by your bodyweight and rucksack, or by your walking poles,if you have them. Use it for a brief stop, a few hours or, if needed, sleep inside. . low weight and volume . protects 2 users with gear

This tupek thing was my heaven in a hell strom away from my tent last month. essencial gear if you are exposed in the mountain. Hope you win ortik.

Greating from Japan. I am mountain guide. I say this tent is best in world today. I use in Annapurna this year. In storm only tent that didn't break.

No it wouldn't. The tupek is a shelter for an emergency (or not). And if you want prepared for everything, get a jetstream tent like me.

wouldnt it be better to go prepared in alpine conditions?I allways use MACPAC OLYMPUS,they are way stronger and way less noisy,good idea though.
